Miloš Dimitrijević is an attorney at law and partner at Bernik Dimitrijević. He is widely considered by his clients to be an expert litigator, civil and commercial law practitioner and immigration lawyer.
He graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana by successfully defending his thesis on Insolvency restructuring procedures in Slovenia. He completed a judicial traineeship at the Ljubljana Higher Court. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana in the area of civil (contract) law. He successfully passed the bar exam (2020) and the attorney exam (2022). He is member of the bar association of the Republic of Slovenia. He researched and co-authored published work referring to potential liabilities arising from the cancellation of financial instruments of Slovene banks in 2013. Apart from being fluent in Slovene and English, Miloš is a native speaker of Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian and is advanced in the French language.
While his professional focus are matters of Slovene litigation, specifically in civil and commercial law, he is proficient in substantive contract law, real estate law and labor law. During his practice, Miloš counselled several corporate clients, whose projects extended beyond the scope of typical corporate and commercial law into complex matters of Slovenian residency and Slovenian citizenship, therefore requiring an immigration lawyer or immigration law firm. Wishing to provide these services as well, Miloš has, over years of experience become a proficient immigration lawyer for these clients. Following his success in immigration projects for corporate clients, Miloš’s reputation as a top immigration lawyer in Slovenia quickly developed, prompting several new clients to engage his services principally in this legal area (t.i. seeking specifically an immigration law firm or an immigration lawyer, rather than a corporate lawyer who also provides immigration law services).
